Day 1
Arrival/ Colombo
Arrive in Colombo and transfer to the hotel in the afternoon take a city tour with visits to Colombo fort, the bazaar areas, Old parliament, Independent square and the exclusive residential area of Colombo.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2
Colombo/ Pinnawela/ Sigiriya
After breakfast travel to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage 10 miles from Kegalle on the Colombo/ Kandy road, to see the baby elephants being fed. The unique orphanage was launched in 1975. In the afternoon visit the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, These caves built at the base of a 150m high rock during the 1st Century BC to 993 AD and are by far the most impressive of the many cave temples found in Sri Lanka.
Continue to Sigiriya and you will spend the next 3 nights at the hotel.
Day 3
Sigiriya/ Polonnawaruwa/ Sigiriya
After breakfast visit the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya that is famous for its frescoes of “Heavenly Maidens”.
Afternoon, join sightseeing tour of Polonnaruwa. The entire landscape of the region is punctuated by huge man made reservoirs, veritable inland seas, the most famous of which, is the sea of Prakrama, large in size than Colombo harbor.

Day 4
Sigiriya/ Anuradhapura/ Sigiriya
Proceed after breakfast from Sigiriya to Anuradhapura, this sacred city was established around a cutting from the ‘tree of enlightenment’, the Buddha’s fig tree, brought there in the 3rd century B.C. by Sanghamitta, the founder of an order of Buddhist nuns. Anuradhapura, a Sri Lankan political and religious capital that flourished for 1,300 years, was abandoned after a South Indian invasion in 993A.D. Hidden away in dense jungle for many years, the splendid site, with its palaces, monasteries and monuments, is now accessible once again.

Day 5
Sigiriya/ Matale/ Kandy
Continue tour after breakfast to Kandy en-route visiting Batik Factory and spice garden at Matale. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Kandy, Sri Lanka’s last royal citadel with an exotic oriental atmosphere and picturesquely situated between mountain, lake and river. Later enjoy some traditional evening entertainment with a cultural dance performance.

Day 6
Kandy/ Peradeniya/ Nuwara Eliya
Continue today to Nuwara Eliya, visiting the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya and tea factory enroute. Sri Lanka’s picturesque hill resort 1,890 meters above the sea level is renowned for its perennial spring like climate and carpets of lush green tea. In the afternoon you will take a sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya.

Day 7
Nuwara Eliya/ Hambantota/ Yala/ Hambantota
After breakfast proceed to Hambantota. Late afternoon enjoy a jeep safari to the Yala National Park, located on the south cost of the island near Hambantota.

Hambantota/ Galle
Continue journey to Galle and check-in at the hotel to refresh. Afternoon you will join a sightseeing tour of Galle.

Galle/ Wadduwa
After breakfast proceed to an Ayurveda hotel in Wadduwa. Enjoy the wellness experience before departure.

Wadduwa/ Departure
